"Daddy"
Painting By Artist JJ Burner
I saw this image a lot in a short amount of time on almost all the social media platforms. When I first saw it, It was an impactful image. I see creativity along with nurturing. The way the infant is wrapped so snug, in his fathers hair. With fist up in an universal sign of a hungry infant. An interpretation for myself is hungry for knowledge, the growing baby. It was a positive warm comforting feeling and I wanted to paint it. I hesitated due to my tired state at the time. I almost put it off, then something inspired me to share that feeling with others. I happen to paint this piece during a crazy storm we were having in Minnesota. As I'm writing this it still here, yet it's half way through April. The mind trick alone on that can kill ambition if you fight for it hard enough. The size is 16x20 acrylic and metallic enamel paint used on a stretched canvas with both sides completely painted. Piece finished in April of 2018. I'm currently accepting commission work. Email me here at zealouspaintings@live.com to order your work of art. I also have more art available at the Online art gallery
