I painted Tiger Lillies in this piece because I have been so intrigued by the symbolism of the flower. I  found it to be a symbol of "Nobility", Wealth, And protection against harm. Not only what the Tiger Lily signifies but, the bright vibrant hues are what urged me to paint them. I enjoyed the final outcome of this piece. My mood was calm and relaxed while painting this piece. Painting completed November of 2015. This painting was made with Acrylic paint on a 16x20 ready to hang canvas. My mood while painting this piece was calm and relaxed. I was inspired to make this painting because of the feeling I felt as laying in bed at night. Then I began to think what other feelings come close. The feeling of laying hugged up tight in another's arms, that makes you feel safe and a sense of comfort. I choose the cool color blue and it has made the cool color warm to me with the image that I had painted. Who knew a cool color could make you feel so warm. This painting is available for sale. Painting "Ice Cube"

Painting revamped and completed on 4/28/15. I was inspired to paint this piece "Ice Cube" as his Character Doughboy in the movie "Boyz In The Hood". I have enjoyed the movie and the messages for the community in the movie. The background color blue, is one of my favorites. The blue makes the colors pop out. My mood during this piece was focused.
